Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated upper division student to serve as a Student Success Teaching Fellow. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience in teaching and mentoring, while also contributing to the academic success of their peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend a training session prior to or at the beginning of the semester to review best practices on how to facilitate review sessions.
  • Meet with the course professor at least once to establish expectations specific to their sessions.
  • Hold a one-hour session every two weeks during the semester to provide supplemental support to students.
  • Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.
Requirements
  • Must currently be enrolled as an upper division student at Lewis & Clark Law School.
  • Must have received a grade of B+ or higher in the subject during their 1L year.
  • Must have been invited to apply by the Associate Dean for Student Affairs.
Work Schedule

The work schedule will be determined in consultation with the Director of Equity, Inclusion, & Academic Resources and the assigned professor(s). Students on average will work between 6-10 hours a month in this position.

Rate of Pay

$18.00 per hour
