Position Overview:

Role Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Windows Systems Architect/Administrator with expertise in Active Directory Management and SharePoint Administration. The individual will be responsible for formulating strategies for technical IT infrastructures and overseeing the execution of assigned engineering projects. This role may also involve acting as a lead within a team of engineers across various technical domains related to Database/Applications functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for server installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance in alignment with established IT policies.
  • Administer Active Directory, including user and group account management, endpoint device administration, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee SharePoint administration tasks, including the design and development of SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows.
  • Provide support to end-users in maintaining content on their web pages and assist site owners with site development.
  • Facilitate data integrity and role-based access during data transfers to SharePoint Online.
  • Serve as the primary contact for critical server outages, communicating status updates to infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
  • Define and execute server backup and recovery procedures, participating in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Respond to Service Desk tickets and escalations in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with other IT functional areas to ensure server availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Provide off-hours support as part of a rotating on-call procedure.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a technical role supporting server environments.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a technical position related to server management.
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems (2012, 2016, 2019) and VMware ESX/ESXi/View.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP technologies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Windows Network Infrastructure.
  • Strong skills in ASP.NET, SQL Server, and application development.
  • Competence in Microsoft PowerShell 5.0 or higher and server monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills:
Candidates with the following skills will be given preferential consideration:
  • Scripting skills and familiarity with programming technologies such as Batch, WinBatch, PERL, PowerShell, and SQL.
  • Experience in a large-scale hosted computing environment managing numerous machines.
