LPN - Advanced Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Advanced Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit. As an LPN in this role, you will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, promoting adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Contribute data to assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
- Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
- Reinforce patient and family education, family needs, and discharge planning throughout direct patient care.
- Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and plan of care based upon patient response to interventions.
- Initiate collaboration with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members to proactively resolve and facilitate patient needs.
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
- Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification, Licensed Practical Nurse.
