Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to have at least 2 years of pertinent experience in nursing. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN). They must also hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and assessing professional development programs aligned with current methodologies to promote ongoing learning. They will identify the needs of the staff, work closely with various teams, and modify educational material to suit those needs.

The Oncology Nurse Educator will design and assess educational activities and projects, engage team members, and implement evidence-based content. They will use reliable methods to evaluate program outcomes, involve learners in evaluation, and adjust material based on data collected.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of pertinent experience in nursing
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
