Clinical Pharmacist II

- Provide exceptional customer service and promote CHAMP behaviors
- Conduct timely and accurate medication order reviews, considering patient characteristics, laboratory values, and vital signs
- Demonstrate competency in pharmacy automation and technology
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Provide education and training to pharmacy staff, students, and healthcare team members
- Contribute to departmental cost-reduction and revenue generation
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience specific to practice area
- Current Connecticut Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure
This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacology and therapeutics, as well as experience with pharmacy systems of drug distribution and formulary management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
