Multispecialty Clinical Pharmacist-Children and Women's Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Clinical Pharmacist II, you will play a critical role in supporting the vision, mission, and goals of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and promote CHAMP behaviors
- Conduct timely and accurate medication order reviews, considering patient characteristics, laboratory values, and vital signs
- Demonstrate competency in pharmacy automation and technology
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Provide education and training to pharmacy staff, students, and residents
- Contribute to departmental cost-reduction and revenue generation
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience specific to practice area
- Current Connecticut Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
