Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Quality

- Medication Management
- Conduct thorough medication order reviews, considering patient characteristics, laboratory values, and vital signs
- Medication Preparation and Distribution
- Demonstrate expertise in pharmacy automation and technology
- Medication Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Leadership
- Provide education and training to pharmacy staff, students, and healthcare team members
- Financial/Volume Results
- Contribute to departmental cost-reduction and revenue generation initiatives
- Education
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree
- Experience
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience
- Licensure
- Current Connecticut Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure in Connecticut
- Special Skills
- Deep knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
