About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing and Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our Group Strategic Analytics function, you will be responsible for developing and delivering user-facing and server-side applications within our Rates, Credit, Commodities, and Emerging Markets Trading businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement a scalable and flexible C++ Front Office pricing and risk management system with a consistent interface to both the Middle Office and Back Office.
  • Collaborate with trading, quants, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust, reliable, and performant solutions.
  • Support the build-out of the Kannon platform in partnership with Corporate and Investment Bank Technology.
Requirements
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++ / Python, or other object-oriented language, with a background in computer science.
  • Experience working on large-scale software development projects in C++ and/or Python.
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task different projects and prioritize in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous strats/quant/developer experience working in a front office / trading floor environment.
  • Knowledge of interest rate derivatives products, risk and P&L, market data.
  • Academic background in Computer Science / Mathematics / Financial Engineering / Quantitative Finance.
