Position Overview

Engineering Program Manager

· Oversee, implement, and deliver a variety of engineering initiatives simultaneously, ensuring compliance with project timelines, financial constraints, and quality benchmarks.

· Assist in the formulation of methodologies to enhance the management of tasks and transitions among stakeholders.

· Create and sustain project frameworks, timelines, and financial plans.

· Establish and uphold a comprehensive integrated timeline to monitor Engineering resource allocation across all engineering endeavors.

· Recognize and address risks and challenges throughout the project duration, formulating strategies to mitigate them.

· Promote effective communication and teamwork among diverse teams, including engineering, project management, sales, product development, and quality assurance.

· Organize project engagements with external collaborators and suppliers.

· Manage the transition from Product Management to Engineering for product development tasks.

· Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that project expectations are clearly defined and fulfilled.

· Guarantee that all engineering initiatives adhere to applicable regulatory standards and industry practices.

· Conduct regular project update meetings and provide ongoing reports to project stakeholders and upper management.

· Offer guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and skill enhancement.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

· Demonstrated success in managing intricate engineering projects from inception to completion.

· Proficient project management abilities, with a focus on developing and maintaining project frameworks, timelines, and financial plans.

· Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners.

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

· Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

· Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

· Experience with tools such as Jira and Smartsheets is advantageous.

· Background in the power sector is a plus.

Tools & Equipment

· Standard office equipment including telephones, fax machines, and personal computers.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project.

Certifications/Licenses

· PE License (preferred).

· PMP or PgMP certification (preferred).
