Position Title: Medical Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing essential support to medical staff and ensuring a smooth workflow in a clinical setting.

Contract Details:
  • 13-week contract with potential for extension

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Compensation:
Hourly rate ranges from $19 to $21, depending on experience.

Qualifications:
While MA certification is preferred, we are open to candidates with relevant experience. Experience in phlebotomy is a plus. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
The role primarily involves:
  • Rooming patients
  • Conducting EKGs
  • Performing various Medical Assistant duties

No front desk responsibilities are included. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be ready to assist Employee Health staff as needed.

Electronic Medical Records:
Experience with E-clinical systems is beneficial.

Onboarding Process:
Background checks will be conducted as part of the onboarding process.
