The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and closure of sales contracts, ensuring seamless execution and maintaining a high level of confidence for the division throughout the month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and direct daily activities of the 6-person department, implementing policies and procedures to optimize performance.
  • Input and close sales contracts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Balance and reconcile certain journal entries to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Process payments to loss buyers and realtors in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with mortgage and title teams to facilitate smooth closings of sales.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The Contract Manager will directly supervise two or more employees in Contract Administration, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. This includes:

  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Appraising performance and providing feedback.
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees as necessary.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems in a fair and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Three to six years of related experience and/or training in real estate sales management or escrow management.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate contracts and escrow closing processes.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, with JD Edwards skills preferred.
