The Child Care Aide plays a vital role in supporting the teaching staff in implementing activity planning and creating a safe, secure environment for children aged six weeks to fourteen years. This position ensures that interactions with children promote their self-esteem and growth, making learning a fun and engaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teaching staff in implementing activity planning
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and team members
  • Support parents in achieving their parenting goals
  • Document children's daily progress and activities
  • Prepare reports for parents as directed
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, neat, and free of health hazards or infection control risks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 24 hours of coursework in early childhood education or related field (optional)

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting less than 20 lbs
  • Frequent bending and climbing
  • Strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, and logical thinking

Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent and intense customer interactions. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to frequent changes and prioritize tasks effectively.
