Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial lines property and casualty insurance business, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on-time.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing advocacy, excellent service, and professional communication.
  • Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies, including marketing of renewal business.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
  • Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Conduct loss and claim analysis and summaries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience in commercial account management or underwriting.
  • Property and Casualty License required.
  • CIC designation or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required.
  • Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with agency management software preferred.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and use discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
