Job Title: Optometric Technician

Join Grene Vision Group as an Optometric Technician and be a valuable asset to our team of optometrists. As an Optometric Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing a world-class Total Patient Experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Embody our Total Patient Experience by building relationships with patients and delivering exceptional medical support.
  • Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly, and thank them when they leave.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA.
  • Practice urgency at all times, prioritizing patient and doctor time.
  • Operate various optical equipment, including manual lensometers, autorefractors, and retinal cameras.
  • Follow scripting for testing equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Clean examination equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Set phoropters to patient prescriptions or reset to plano as requested by the doctor.
  • Interact with all levels of employees in a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read, analyze, and interpret information.
  • Favorable background check result.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and ability to maintain confidentiality.
