Job Summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition, collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
Requirements
  • Current Texas State RN license or compact license required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Previous ICU experience preferred.
