Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse MICU to join our Medical Intensive Care team at Medical City Arlington. Our team delivers professional nursing care to a diverse patient population with multiple comorbidities in our 15-bed unit.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease-specific protocols.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
- Provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient/family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Current Texas State RN license or compact license required.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
- Previous ICU experience required.
