We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at PMR Healthcare in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Job Overview

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant with 2-3 years of experience, including 2 years of phlebotomy, to work in a multi-specialty clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be committed to maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins and check-outs, and handle inquiries both in person and over the phone.
  • Preparation: Escort patients to labs or examination rooms, and set up necessary equipment.
  • Verification & Support: Confirm patient information, take vital signs, and assist healthcare providers during exams.
  • Hands-On Care: Perform basic lab tests, administer medications, take blood samples, and more—all while ensuring a smooth and safe patient experience.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, follow safety procedures, and stay updated with your certifications and professional knowledge.
Requirements
  • Credentials: Certified Medical Assistant with 2-3 years of experience, including 2 years of phlebotomy.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records, and front office tasks.
  • Attributes: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and professional environment.
