Lead Video Algorithm Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented engineer to research, design, and implement cutting-edge algorithms that fulfill our feature specifications.
Your role will involve analyzing feature development at both the algorithmic and coding levels, focusing on optimization techniques such as x86/x64/Arm neon assembly, data structure enhancements, multi-threading, and GPU acceleration to achieve real-time performance.
You will collaborate with various teams, including application and client teams, to conceptualize and develop features within Zoom's video processing frameworks at both module and system levels.
Utilize your expertise in signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning methodologies to tackle complex technical challenges. You will also work alongside support teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues while providing mentorship to junior team members.Educational and Experience Requirements:
A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline is required, or an equivalent foreign degree.
Remote Work Arrangement:
This position allows for flexible work arrangements across various locations.

Compensation:
Minimum:
$184,662.00 Maximum:
$233,900.00. In addition to the base salary, Zoom offers a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that considers base salary, bonuses, and equity value.

Starting compensation will be determined based on various factors, including qualifications and experience.
We also implement a location-based compensation structure, which may result in different ranges for candidates in various locations.
