We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Computational Geometry Algorithm Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms in C/C++ to solve complex problems in the semiconductor fab industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement algorithms in C/C++ to optimize software performance and solve complex problems
  • Participate in software design and development, and maintain and optimize existing C/C++ software
  • Identify product bottlenecks and develop strategies to improve performance
  • Communicate closely with Marketing, Project engineers, and Quality Assurance team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop high-quality software and contribute to all phases of the development process
Requirements
  • PhD or Masters with equivalent in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, physics, Applied Mathematics, or related areas
  • Three or more years of experience in C++ Object-Oriented Software Development
  • Solid understanding in Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Experience in developing and debugging Multi-threaded/Parallel Applications
  • Familiar with UNIX environment and scripting languages
  • Experience in Computational Geometry, Large Data Application, High Performance Computing, Algorithm Optimization and Geometric Pattern processing (matching) is a plus
  • Knowledge in Semiconductor Lithography and IC design layout processing is a plus
Preferred Skills
  • Strong C++ template class development skills
  • Familiar with STL and boost
  • Strong experience designing and building Algorithms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player and be able to take on any project by others
  • Strong problem solving skill by using available resources
  • Strong and fast experimenting skills to quickly try out different approaches
  • Familiar with MongoDB is a plus
  • Familiar with GPU programming is a plus
