Key Responsibilities- Lead a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance through procedure development, auditing, and document management.
- Oversee employee training on health, safety, and environmental issues, maintaining detailed records and analyzing new products and processes for effective hazard communication.
- Coordinate incident analysis, action plan follow-ups, and document control, staying updated with corporate EHSQ standards and implementing improvements.
- Manage the emergency response program, medical monitoring initiatives, and industrial hygiene protocol, supervising their execution and coordinating personal protective equipment programs.
- Lead waste minimization and Behavioral Safety Programs, focusing on sustainable options and positive reinforcement, collaborating with production teams to review and improve health, safety, environmental, and quality processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in a chemical/manufacturing facility.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and California State regulations.
- Lab bench work capability and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to time-manage and prioritize tasks, with experience in MS office applications, including word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP.
