Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Friendship Village. This role involves safely transporting residents to various activities, appointments, and events while maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class B license with a passenger endorsement. They will be responsible for completing daily safety checks, accurately recording mileage and resident attendance, and notifying supervisors of any vehicle issues or resident concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up and deliver residents to scheduled activities and appointments in a safe and timely manner
  • Complete daily safety checks on assigned vehicles and report any issues to supervisors
  • Accurately record vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all transportation activities
  • Notify supervisors of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
  • Assist with planning and setting up events, as well as making informational flyers and monitoring the bulletin board
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, including miscellaneous runs and administrative tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid CDL Class B license with a passenger endorsement
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
What We Offer
