Key Responsibilities

  • Support the architect in managing the contractual obligations of the design team.
  • Evaluate and authorize submittals related to the MEP scope of work.
  • Address RFIs pertinent to the MEP scope of work.
  • Conduct regular site inspections (typically on a monthly basis) to assess construction progress and verify compliance with construction documents.
  • Perform final walkthroughs and document any incomplete items in relation to the construction documents.
  • Participate in virtual meetings on a monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly basis, depending on project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen aptitude for problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with construction documentation and contract management.
  • Understanding of building codes and construction standards.
  • Experience with construction management software.
