Construction Administrator

Job Overview

Luxus is seeking a highly skilled Construction Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction phase of a project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and respond to submittals and RFI's in a timely manner
  • Monitor construction schedules and perform field observations as needed
  • Review project contracts to determine the level of services and manage CA services accordingly
  • Review pay applications and work with the PM/Accounting to invoice at regular intervals
  • Notify the Team Leader and PM of design issues or claimed E/O issues
  • Prepare field reports for each trip to a project site
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Five years' experience in construction administration or a contractor role in similar project types
  • Reliable transportation for travel to project sites
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work well with in-house staff to resolve issues
Working Conditions

This position requires night and weekend work at times to meet project deadlines. The ability to carry up to 50 lbs of drawings and climb ladders is a requirement of the position.
