Senior Production Quality Manager

Role Overview:
The Senior Production Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes within the production environment and enhancing capabilities to comply with external standards and regulations. This role ensures that quality standards are maintained throughout the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement quality management systems and processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and standardization.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience in manufacturing quality)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading people
• This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing quality
• 10+ years of experience leading people
• Prior working experience in the Aerospace industry
• Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer)
• Experience with advanced quality tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP)
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
