Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Dayton, OH location. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely perform aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions and inspections following applicable technical data.
• Coordinate with management and assigned supervision to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, signoffs, and quality specifications using the Corridor maintenance program.
• Ensure that all inspections are properly performed, and the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by the Repair Station are properly executed prior to releasing the product for return to service.
• Follow standard operating procedures assigned from management and as directed by the aircraft manufacturers' maintenance manual specifications when using aircraft maintenance tools and equipment.
Requirements:
• Must be an FAA licensed A&P Mechanic with over 5 years' experience.
• Must be capable and willing to train, operate, and perform aircraft runs and taxi operations at the Dayton International Airport.
• Must acquire, support, and maintain a QC Inspection capability as a Level 1 Inspector.
• Must be able to train and direct junior mechanics.
• Must be team-oriented, self-driven, and safety-conscious, demonstrating positive behavior and attitude.
• Must be goal-oriented and driven to meet and/or exceed quality maintenance actions and expectations.
• Must have problem-solving skills that result in solutions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the American English language fluently to meet FAA Regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
• Ability to use standard aircraft mechanics tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft maintenance process.
• Able to climb ladders and stairs, perform close tolerance work, work in small spaces, lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work at heights to include from a 20' ladder or aerial lift.
• Knowledge of Corridor Maintenance Program, MS Office programs including Outlook.
