We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Product Management to join our team at Zebra. Key Responsibilities- Oversee a team of subordinate Portfolio Managers, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure successful execution against launch objectives for assigned service offers.
- Recommend and oversee execution of a strategy for assigned software portfolio, using comprehensive knowledge of market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels, and Zebra offerings.
- Anticipate market and customer requirements for an assigned product line/portfolio and monitor target markets to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Manage a portfolio directly, working autonomously to develop and present business cases, complete supportive research, author and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences, and monitor and report business metrics against plan.
- Own product lifecycle management for assigned product lines/families of moderate to high complexity, including tactical execution, managing custom requirements, developing and driving end-of-life plans, and executing inventory objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
- 12 or more years of experience in software product lifecycle management or implementation.
- 2+ years of experience as a team supervisor/manager.
- Strong business acumen/industry knowledge in one or more primary verticals (Retail & CPG preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in managing execution of portfolio management functions.
- Advanced P&L knowledge.
- 25% travel required globally.
