The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) delivers exceptional patient care within a healthcare facility.
Under the guidance of healthcare leaders, this position works closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to foster a safe and efficient clinical atmosphere through well-established clinical protocols and adherence to best practices.
The CNS will also engage in administrative responsibilities as necessary, such as reconciling data across various medical documents, including patient files, physician notes, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment strategies.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates clinical practices, procedures, and protocols to ensure alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Delivers direct patient care; performs thorough assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patient conditions to achieve optimal health results.
Mentors and assesses the performance of junior staff, offering guidance, constructive feedback, and support to promote high-quality care delivery and professional growth.
Undertakes additional duties as assigned.
