Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our Radiation Oncology team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. This role will work closely with our providers, radiation therapists, social work, front desk, MA's and prior auth team to provide outstanding patient care.

This position is an add to our current complement of 8 nurses who work in a 5 day a week operation, open from 7:30 am - end of treatment. Outpatient oncology experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Vermont
  • Experience in oncology nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
