Position Summary:
The Equestrian Product Specialist is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role involves assisting customers with their inquiries, restocking and organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and inviting sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers and ensure a superior service experience
• Address customer inquiries, recommend promotional items, and provide detailed product knowledge
• Handle transactions by calculating totals and processing various payment methods
• Manage customer returns with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist in the processing of incoming merchandise shipments
• Contribute to the overall upkeep of the store
• Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
• Must possess experience in the equestrian field
• Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to read, write, and effectively engage with customers, colleagues, and management
• Proficient telephone etiquette
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus on customer needs
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary
• This role requires continuous movement, communication, and standing for extended periods. Occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing may be necessary.
• Must be enthusiastic, approachable, and genuinely committed to providing outstanding service
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently pursuing a diploma
