About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dosimetrist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing treatment plans for cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan external beam treatment plans for patient treatments using advanced computer systems and technology.
  • Work closely with our interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, dosimetrists, physics, and physicians to ensure comprehensive radiation treatment.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Dosimetrist and Physics Manager to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Evaluate and verify treatment plans to ensure technical soundness and conformance to policy and requirements.
Requirements
  • BS in Applied Science or related field.
  • Five years of experience as a dosimetrist with expertise in patient treatments on linear accelerators and supporting computerized record and verify systems.
  • CMD board eligibility.
