Treatment Planning Role
The University of California, San Francisco is seeking a skilled Dosimetrist to join our team in the Department of Radiation Oncology. As a Treatment Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing external beam treatment plans for patient treatments using a treatment planning computer, computer support system, and computer quality improvement verifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Collaborate with physicists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans
- Verify treatment plans and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance treatment planning processes
Requirements
- BS in Applied Science or related field
- Five years of experience as a Dosimetrist with technological skills reflecting knowledge of patient treatments on a linear accelerator
- CMD board eligibility
