Position Overview:
A healthcare provider located in San Rafael, California is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of five years of experience in primary care to undertake both clinical and Chief Medical Officer responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate innovative leadership qualities, deliver exceptional evidence-based patient care, and possess the capability to treat patients across all age demographics. This position is situated within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves the San Rafael, Marin County, and Northern California regions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current CA NP or PA license
- CA DEA certificate required prior to commencement
- CPR certification
- Board certification in relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides medical oversight and administrative leadership for all functions of the Health Center
- Supervises the Director of Clinical Compliance and other medical staff
- Acts as a primary care provider for 20 hours weekly
- Facilitates the standardization and integration of services across all patient-facing programs
