Under the direction of the Medical Director and Overseeing Physician, the Nurse Practitioner will manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite health care clinic.
Responsibilities include performing post-offer physicals and non-work-related/return-to-work medical clearance examinations, providing urgent and episodic care to employees, and responding to in-plant medical emergencies.
The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, treat, and provide ongoing medical management of workplace injuries and non-occupational conditions, including writing prescriptions and facilitating referrals in collaboration with the physician.
Additional duties include driving chronic disease management process, maintaining charts and employee incident records, and performing minor procedures.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in an occupational health setting and current valid state licensure.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and knowledge of OSHA Recordability and workers compensation principles are preferred.
