Market Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Bayside Marin Treatment Center and Azure Acres Recovery Center

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide financial leadership over our Northern California Specialty market. This will include financial oversight for Bayside Marin Treatment Center and Azure Acres Recovery Center.

Bayside Marin is a leading rehabilitation center dedicated to the treatment of addiction and co-occurring disorders. Located in one of the most exclusive areas of Northern California, our facility offers a serene and tranquil environment, perfect for patients seeking recovery. Azure Acres is a residential drug & alcohol rehab Center tucked away in the hills of Sebastopol, a small town in Sonoma County, California, just north of San Francisco.

As a Market CFO, you will be responsible for ensuring that monthly financial statements are completed timely and accurately. You will also ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and in compliance with company policies and standards. Additionally, you will prepare corporate required reports, including the Monthly Operating Report, Monthly Certifications, Corporate Disclosures, and Forecasts.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements.
  2. Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  3. Prepare corporate required reports, including the Monthly Operating Report, Monthly Certifications, Corporate Disclosures, and Forecasts.
  4. Direct the operations of the Revenue Cycle to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and minimize uncompensated care.
  5. Supervise Accounting, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, Materials Management, and other departments assigned by the CEO.
  6. Ensure compliance with Group Purchasing contract and monitor purchases to ensure supply costs are kept to budgeted levels.
  7. Prepare annual operating budget and participate in the annual strategic planning process.
  8. Prepare annual capital budgets and Capital Equipment Requests.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field with major in Accounting.
  2. Minimum 3 years successful CFO experience in a healthcare setting desired.
  3. Previous Behavioral healthcare experience highly preferred.
  4. Previous experience with a proprietary healthcare system highly preferred.
  5. CPA or Master's degree a plus.
  6. Proven financial analysis skills.
  7. Experience working with information technology and proficiency with software packages including Excel and Word.
  8. Demonstrated leadership ability.
  9. Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  10. Ability to think strategically and solve problems.
  11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with facility staff, physicians, and corporate staff.
  12. Ability to lead with a high degree of emotional intelligence and ethics.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience, within the range of $195,000 to $210,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
