Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to close-out. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in new construction and renovation/addition construction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or assist construction projects from start to close-out, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Prepare punch lists and manage field personnel to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Establish project plans, track progress, and maintain a pulse on project status to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, and design consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Enforce safety programs and manage quality control to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage accurate invoice payment processes and financial project costs to ensure project profitability.
- Direct and supervise construction or related workers to ensure efficient project execution.
- Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters related to project execution.
- Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with construction or maintenance to ensure project success.
- Study job specifications to determine construction methods and ensure project feasibility.
- Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and ensure project quality.
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies to ensure project success.
- Develop or implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Requisition supplies or materials to complete construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Determine labor requirements for dispatching workers to construction sites to ensure efficient project execution.
- Contract or oversee craftwork to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations and ensure project sustainability.
- Perform pre-building assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating or feasibility assessments, to ensure project viability.
- Develop or implement environmental protection programs to ensure project sustainability.
- Obtain necessary permits or licenses to ensure project compliance with regulations.
- Has led a $5M-50M project as lead PM with strong business and financial acumen.
- Has experience in new construction and renovation/addition construction.
- Has diverse construction experience, preferably in Sports and Recreation.
- Has a technical degree or education in construction or a related field.
- Has 4-10 years of experience working in the construction industry.
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Has a stable work record.
- Has knowledge in Construction Management or a related field.
