Medical Devices Division

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Pricing & Contracting Analyst to join our team. This role will support the Medical Devices US Sales Division, collaborating with various departments including Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance. The analyst will utilize business management principles and financial concepts to optimize the company's performance against sales and profit objectives while mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of historical sales data, competitive pricing trends, market dynamics, and existing contracts.
  • Provide detailed insights and articulate conclusions from analyses to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Advise the sales team to ensure pricing requests align with the established pricing strategy endorsed by senior leadership.
  • Develop strategies for Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN).
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals to senior management for approval.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all pricing approvals.
  • Draft contracts that reflect approved pricing structures in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Oversee the generation of pricing letters and verify accuracy in price loads.
  • Review pricing requests with potential GPO and IDN implications and facilitate necessary approvals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on GPO contract implementation for Business Analysts and the sales team.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and customers to negotiate non-standard contractual terms.
  • Create implementation packages for GPO contract launches.
  • Generate ad hoc sales reports and analyses as required.
  • Enhance tools for GPO and IDN Contract Summaries and financial models for pricing analysis.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in business, finance, or strategic pricing and contracting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, SAP, Business Objects, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and build relationships with sales personnel.

Preferred

A degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, or Business is preferred, along with an advanced degree or relevant experience in the medical device industry. Six Sigma certification is a plus.
