As a member of the Transport Crew, you will play a vital role in addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients who are ill or injured.

Your responsibilities will include promoting the safe and efficient operation of our transport services.



Qualifications:
To embody our values of humankindness in the workplace, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Preferred: One year of experience in paramedic skills
  • Required: High School Diploma/GED
  • Required: Current Colorado state Paramedic certification and National Registry certification as a Paramedic
  • Must maintain compliance with all certifications mandated by CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems)
  • Required: BCLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Required: ACLS and PALS certifications
  • NRP certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
  • EVOC certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an annual driving record review for safe vehicle operations

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Having completed over 90,000 flights, we continue to provide essential services to the residents of Colorado and the surrounding Rocky Mountain Region.

Our rigorous training, comprehensive coverage, and decades of proven service have established us as the preferred air medical program for hospitals, EMS agencies, search and rescue teams, and ski patrols throughout the state.

Our helicopters operate within a 150-mile radius of the Denver Metro area, including regions surrounding Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Durango, northern New Mexico, and southeastern Utah.

We offer critical care transport utilizing five helicopters, three ambulances, and three airplanes, all equipped with industry-leading technology and a highly skilled team.


Unique Capabilities:

  • Whole blood transfusion for patients experiencing traumatic hemorrhage.
  • Advanced cardiac life-sustaining technologies, including Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA), intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella ventricular assist devices, and ECMO heart and lung support.
  • High-risk obstetrical care.
  • Pediatric critical care.
  • Mountain rescue with high-altitude landing and backcountry capabilities.
  • Our fixed-wing aircraft are operated by Mayo Aviation, Inc., while our helicopters are operated by Air Methods, Corp.
