- Collaboration: Foster collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to advance lipidomics research and development initiatives.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies in lipidomics and evaluate their potential applications to enhance research capabilities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all lipidomics research activities.
- Communication and Presentation: Effectively communicate scientific findings and progress to senior management, stakeholders, and external audiences.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage the lipidomics research budget and resources efficiently to optimize productivity and deliver results.
- Education: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in lipidomics research, with a focus on lipid metabolism, lipid signaling, and lipid-related diseases.
- Scientific Innovation: Proven track record of scientific innovation, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals and contributions to the field of lipidomics.
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and management skills, with previous experience leading multidisciplinary research teams in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.
- Lipidomics Methodologies: Expertise in a wide range of lipidomics methodologies, including mass spectrometry, chromatography, lipid extraction techniques, and data analysis tools.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Drug Discovery and Development: Experience in drug discovery and development, particularly in lipid-based therapeutics, is desirable but not essential.
