At SST Direct, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Municipal Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing detailed documentation and submittals for municipal water filtration projects.

Job Overview

This is a direct hire opportunity with a water filtration industry leader in New Jersey. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability benefits, life insurance, profit sharing, and paid company holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and compile detailed submittal documents, including hydraulic schematics, technical bulletins, and exploded-view diagrams for municipal projects.
  • Prepare and organize Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to produce accurate project drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and Inventor software.
  • Ensure documentation meets municipal and government standards for proposals and approvals.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain project information within the corporate database.
  • Attend conference calls and client meetings to support project planning and execution.
  • Manage version control and updates to existing documentation for ongoing projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, project engineering, or municipal project environments.
  • Preferred background in water treatment or filtration systems.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD and Inventor required).
  • Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and manage complex documentation.
  • Positive and professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 based on experience. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability benefits, life insurance, profit sharing, and paid company holidays.
