Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Calculate and process various salary components, including vacation pay, overtime, and bonuses.
- Ensure accurate payment of legal charges and statutory withholdings, such as employee guarantee fund, social security, income tax, and labor dues.
- Calculate payments related to dismissals and process accordingly.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in payroll processing or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
