Your Responsibilities: As a Consumer Outside Sales Specialist, your role will involve promoting and selling Windstream's products and services to potential customers within a designated area. This position requires you to engage with potential clients door-to-door, facilitating order placements, ensuring service activation, establishing accurate billing, and following up to guarantee customer satisfaction. You will be expected to achieve sales targets for products and services and participate in Windstream's special events to expand your network and enhance sales opportunities. You will also take part in an extensive 8-week Sales Residency program designed to equip you with the necessary training and knowledge for success in this role. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a 5% increase in your base salary.
Qualifications: You should possess excellent customer service and organizational skills, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and a reliable, insured personal vehicle for travel to assigned territories. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals are essential. Self-motivation and a strong desire for success are key attributes. You must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and on different terrains, including paved, gravel, dirt, and hilly roads. Previous sales experience is preferred, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
