Sales Support Specialist

About the Role
Kontek Industries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. As a full-time, in-office team member, you will provide vital administrative and sales support to ensure the smooth functioning of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support to the sales team by preparing sales documents such as quotes, proposals, and contracts.
- Assist in the management and processing of sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and follow-up on orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and orders within the company's CRM system.
Customer Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries, providing prompt responses and directing inquiries to the appropriate sales representatives.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, availability, and order status updates.
- Address customer concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Order Processing & Fulfillment
- Work closely with the sales team to manage the entire order cycle, from initial customer inquiry to order fulfillment and delivery.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, shipping, and operations teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and meet customer expectations.
- Track and monitor the progress of sales orders, resolving any issues related to order fulfillment, shipping delays, or product discrepancies.
CRM & Data Management
- Update and maintain customer information, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system to ensure data accuracy.
- Generate reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics for management review.
- Analyze customer trends, order histories, and feedback to provide insights for future sales strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support, inside sales, or administrative role within a sales department.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
