- Verify guests' identification to confirm compliance with minimum age regulations for alcohol consumption.
- Promote and present current offerings to guests.
- Accurately document and manage all orders, ensuring proper payment collection from guests.
- Maintain precise records of all sales and tips as per company policies.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in bartending within high-volume bars or nightclubs.
- Familiarity with various liquor brands, beers, wines, champagnes, non-alcoholic beverages, appropriate glassware, preparation techniques, and garnishes.
- Formal training in bartending is preferred.
- Must comply with state legal age requirements.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interactions with guests, kitchen staff, wait staff, and supervisors.
- Possession of alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as mandated by local or state regulations.
- Reading and writing skills are frequently utilized for order taking and paperwork completion.
- Basic mathematical skills are regularly employed.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays may be required.
- Ability to handle, carry, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds (e.g., barware, boxes, bottles).
- Capability to navigate the bar, lounge, and kitchen safely and efficiently.
- Skill in handling food, objects, products, and utensils safely and effectively.
- Ability to bend, stand, stoop, and kneel as necessary.
