Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Frontend and Backend Components: Develop and optimize frontend and backend components of our surgical robotics software, ensuring seamless integration and real-time communication.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI Designers: Work with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mock-ups into responsive, interactive interfaces that meet the needs of our users.
  • Develop and Maintain APIs and Services: Create and maintain APIs and services that interface with robotic hardware, ensuring efficient and reliable communication.
  • Understand Surgical Process and Robotic Functionalities: Develop a deep understanding of the surgical process and robotic functionalities to ensure that our software complements the hardware efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Robotics and AI Software Engineers: Work with robotics and AI software engineers to develop scalable and robust databases, local and remote.
  • Ensure Software Robustness and Reliability: Ensure that our software is robust, reliable, and safe, particularly given the critical nature of surgical operations.
  • Optimize Applications for Performance and User Experience: Optimize our applications for maximum performance, scalability, and user experience, ensuring that they meet the needs of our users.
  • Work with Stakeholders: Collaborate with robotics engineers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to understand surgical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
  • Participate in Code Reviews and Design Sessions: Participate in regular code reviews, stand-ups, and design sessions to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Technologies: Stay current with emerging technologies, surgical methodologies, and best practices in software development, ensuring that our software remains cutting-edge and innovative.
