As a Staffing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing department by coordinating staffing schedules, managing employee records, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees and applicants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and post monthly nursing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage of units and addressing scheduling conflicts.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding scheduling issues and prepare written correspondence as needed.
  • Collaborate with nursing department supervisors to identify staffing needs and develop effective scheduling solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, tardiness, and performance, reporting any issues to the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Work with Human Resources and the Director of Nursing Services to schedule modified work duty employees in accordance with facility policy and employee work restrictions.
  • Update and maintain nursing department employee records, ensuring current certifications and licenses are up-to-date.
  • Communicate with Unit Managers to facilitate quality orientation programs and provide new hires with a comprehensive orientation schedule.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining a calm, cheerful, and professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in this state.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a staffing or scheduling role.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
