About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily sick call and provide emergency care for medical emergencies.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Participate in Quality Management and Peer Review activities to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing (NPs) or an accredited education program for PAs.
  • Previous experience in correctional or detention facility settings.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Unrestricted current license, certification, or registration in the state of practice.
  • Current DEA registration and BLS and PALS certification through AHA.
