We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insurance Client Advisor to join our team at IMA Financial Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our small commercial lines clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and demonstrate IMA's core values, including a commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Manage daily account servicing and client advisement needs, including handling client and insurance company inquiries, resolving coverage and premium discrepancies, and maintaining accurate account information.
  • Develop and implement remarketing strategies to meet client servicing standards and market changes.
  • Manage the renewal process for assigned accounts, including preparation of pre-renewal summaries, creation of renewal applications and submissions, online quoting, and negotiation of terms and premiums.
  • Participate in conference calls and in-person client meetings to review insurance strategies and business operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling new lines of coverage or services on existing accounts.
  • Follow up on accounts receivable items in accordance with IMA's Accounts Receivable Policy.
Requirements
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently on matters of significance.
  • Ability to manage complex accounts and analyze insurance quotes to make recommendations.
  • Knowledge of policy forms and endorsements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Math skills, including familiarity with ratios, percentages, discounts, and commissions.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Minimum 2 years of similar or related experience.
  • Property and Casualty license required for the state of business, with a commitment to continuing education to retain the license.
