Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Intern to join our team at POET Biofuels. As a Logistics Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our schedulers, dispatch groups, and production facilities while interacting with our commercial business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create shipping orders and enter bills of lading
  • Forecast customer demand for product and bioprocessing facility production and inventory
  • Dispatch shipments with partner carriers and verify delivery details
  • Communicate production, inventory, and shipment forecasts and status to internal and external counterparties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Zero to two years of experience in a business setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Effective communication and writing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to exceed expectations
