Job Overview

Pennant Solutions Group is seeking a **Vulnerability Assessment Subject Matter Expert**. The ideal candidate will possess a **Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)** clearance, a **Bachelor's Degree**, and a **Security+ certification**, along with a minimum of **8 years of experience** in conducting thorough assessments of systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing systems and networks for deviations from established configurations, policies, and standards.
  • Conducting compliance audits and active evaluations, including vulnerability assessments.
  • Implementing stringent program control processes to mitigate risks and facilitate the certification and accreditation of systems.
  • Managing processes related to analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, and audits.
  • Assisting in the execution of required government policies and making informed recommendations on process improvements.
  • Demonstrating expertise in validating security requirements and proposing additional safeguards as necessary.
  • Supporting formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) processes through preparation, participation, and analysis of results.
  • Documenting outcomes of Certification and Accreditation activities and preparing system Security Plans, including updates to the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
  • Conducting comprehensive reviews of system audits and overseeing corrective actions until resolution.
