Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst

Ampcus is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities to reduce the risk of cyber attacks.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of cybersecurity vulnerabilities to identify potential risks and impacts on our clients' security postures.
  • Utilize creativity and divergent thinking to assess and explain the impact of cybersecurity vulnerabilities on our clients' security postures.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to reduce the risk of cyber attacks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to ensure our clients' security postures remain effective.
  • Develop and deliver technical briefings to our clients to educate them on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of directly relevant experience in cybersecurity vulnerability analysis.
  • Experience with the analysis and characterization of cyber attacks.
  • Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of basic networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, and DNS.
  • Knowledge of CVSS and KEV scoring methodology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across physical and virtual locations.
Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of OT/ICS/SCADA technologies and associated vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with conducting all-source research.
  • Understanding of MITRE Adversary Tactics, Techniques and Common Knowledge (Telecommunication&CK).
